Options to Quickly Convert Between Two Currencies

Q: What's the quickest way to convert from one currency to the other?

A: While the buttons that can be selected with the mouse depend on the particular visual style chosen for the calculator skin being used, certain keyboard shortcuts should always be functional in a well-designed skin.

For example, you can press the spacebar to convert between the two most recently used currencies. If, for example, you usually only work with US dollars and Canadian dollars, you only need to select these two currencies from the drop-down list once, and then you can use the spacebar.

If you have a wheel mouse, you can use the wheel to select the currency. Or, you can use the cursor keys.

Currency keys (e.g. $) are usually associated to their respective currencies (e.g. USD). The U key and the EURO key convert to and from the euro currency.
