Q: Do I need to be online in order to
perform currency conversions?

DISCUSSION
A: No. The software caches the exchange
rates for use offline (i.e. when not connected to
the internet) or in case the data source has a problem.
If you enable the Auto-update function, the software
automatically connects to the network in order to
get up-to-date rates. If the software is not running,
it automatically loads fresh data as required when
it starts again.
